Samson olawale (IROKO WORLD PERCUSSIONIST) is an acclaimed percussionist of international repute, who has toured extensively and performed with some of the very best acts in the world, including the legendary njazz guitarist JOHN SCOFIELD and KARL DENSON in the USA. His ingenuity has taken him on tour with renowned acts all over the USA, Canada, Brazil, Caribbean Island, South Africa, Japan and U.K to mention a few.

He began performing at the tender age of seven and has explored the world of rhythm with his mastery of most percussion instrument including the conga sets and Djembe drum his specialties. Having performed and contributed his unique sound and experience to the success of some of Nigeria renowned acts such as Lagbaja, Femi Kuti, Aiyetoro, Ikenga, Heavy Wind , Kola Ogunkoya, T.W.O among other lately D'banj . He is indeed a true ambassador of Africa drum.

Iroko is a big tree in the forest that all smaller trees bow down for, meaning that all other musical concept are still coming to bow down for African music concept. More so, the entire percussion drum was carved from the tree called Iroko tree. I directed my passion towards the African rhythm and style by constructing my projects more on African music vibes. From this experience emerged IROKO WORLD PERCUSSIONIST),  that plays African Instruments, sings and dance for different occasions. We bring world music which has melted back to light.

We lighten up occasions by delivering good music with drums, percussions and songs that portrays good Africanize culture. Iroko music blends afrobeats, highlife, traditional Yoruba music and contemporary music using Djembe, conga, bongo, tap drum, guitars and more traditional Nigerian instruments.
